6. Встреча Москва: Старый Арбат у Стеной Цоя / Old Arbat Street at Tsoi Wall

At the «Wall» in tribute to the well-known Russian rock-legend Viktor Tsoi we learned about the origin of this memorial. As we relocated, Polina told us about the house and studio of her relative and famous avant-garde architect K. S. Mel’nikov (Krivoarbatskij Per. 10). We even could walk around the 1929 2-cylindric house with its remarkable 6-sided windows. For details see here: http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Дом_Мельникова (At the middle of the page is a video. For German-speakers you can see&hear at 5:30min an expert-description of the building,historic value,todays difficulties and possible future. Polina can also be seen in the video – the young girl in between the elder people ;-) ).

5. Встреча Москва: Воробьёвы горы/Vorob’jovy Gory, МГУ

Had a relatively «warm» evening with a beautiful view over the gigantic mega-city. In the back the biggest «Stalin-Finger», the MGU. As the wind did refresh too much, we used KSC-rules to move under the gigantic pillars around the entrance portal of the Moscow State University (MGU). Had an informative presentation, Vodka and Moscow-member-record (12, 8 of ‘em Presidents!). ;-)
